Fall 2019 Ski Jumping / Nordic Combined / XC  Ski Schedule

 

Fall Ski Jumping session starts – Tuesday, September 17, 2019   6:00 pm

Fall Ski Jumping session ends – Tuesday, October 22, 2019   6:00 pm (if we have substantial snow before October 22 we will end the Fall session at that time).

Fall Ski jumping sessions will be held on:

Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm       Saturday mornings at 10:00 am

The ISC will shut down the facility on October 23 in order to prepare the K13, K25, and K40 hills for winter ski jumping.

Additional ISC Fall 2019  Events

Saturday, September 28, 2019:  Cliffs Autumn Classic 5km & 10km Trail Race.  Registration is from 8:30 to 9:30 am.  Races start at 10:00 am.  Registration fees - $10 student   $15 adult.  Races start and finish at Suicide Bowl.  Race course is on the Norman Juhola Trail System and single-track trails.  Proceeds are used to support ISC Youth and Junior ski programs.  

Monday, October 21, 2019 @ 7:00 pm:    ISC 2019-2020 Nordic Ski Team SJ/NC/XC Informational Meeting   This meeting is for those interested in all ISC Youth and Junior ski jumping/Nordic combined and cross country ski programs, including the popular Wednesday night Youth cross country ski program.   This informational meeting will be held at the Ski Hall of Fame. 

Monday, October 28, 2019 @ 4:00 pm:  ISC Nordic Ski Team - first practice – first XC/NC dryland practice for middle school and high school skiers – Meet at Suicide Bowl.

Thursday, November 7, 2019 @ 4:00 pm:  Run the 90 .   The ISC invites Superiorland Ski Club high school and middle school skiers to compete in a race up the landing of Suicide Hill.  Spectators are encouraged to attend this pre-season event!

Saturday, November 9, 2019:  Ski Swap (Sands Twp Hall) –      10:30 am

Saturday, November 9, 2019 @ 3:00 pm:  Pumpkin Roll on Suicide K90 landing (new ISC fundraiser).  Purchase a pumpkin (or two, or three, or...) and send it down the landing of Suicide Hill.  Will your pumpkin stay in one piece?  Hit one of the targets near the bottom and win a prize!

Ishpeming Ski Club
